We are now arriving in the future.
Inside the Headquarters of the
United States Destiny Commission.
Just outside Washington, DC,
near the Pentagon.
12:22 p.m.
"He was looking for a particular woman, right? We are supposed to track her down from the enclosure's Quantum Infrared installation."
"Yes, that is correct. And I was trying to establish a connection with the Governance Commission a moment ago, to ask if there is something suspicious that was happening from all the Government and Controlled Enclosures until we are sure that the Department of the Past will never track down our progress."
"I see. We cannot simply divulge information that will later on blow up the entire encryption process, but there must be a way that we can communicate with what it is that the forces of Evil wanted from these enclosures, and what they eventually needed from us. Will there be a way sooner that we can achieve and know this particular end?"
"There is a necessity, I can totally agree with you, but how can we tell them to look for something that they cannot see or do not know?"
"That may be the problem, after all. However, we cannot afford to be intercepted. Many deployed Historians are on their way travelling through time and space from here and there. We cannot be even so sure who we are talking to. These Historians are very capable of clandestine methods. Extreme care is absolutely necessary in this entire operation if we want to succeed."
"As long as no zombies are further created at this point, there is absolutely no reason for us to actually rush on things. The immediacy of the situation requires utmost prudence; the literary world is a dangerous place for all the people who cannot 'truly' read."
"Cannot 'truly read'? What does that mean exactly?"
"Well, the literary narrative usually carries with it hidden or repressed meanings that may not be noticeable for those who cannot grasp the whole process of the parallelism of the many pursuits of writing. Allegories, metaphors and criticisms are only a few example of the message of the literary piece and its effective delivery fully depends on the skillful attempt of the author's creativity, which then characterizes the sanctified style of the glorious imagination to be eventually contained by the pages of the book."
"Glorious?"
"Absolutely. This is glorious in the sense that it tries to put into words the mysterious abstraction of life, death, and the ultimate experience of reality. The human condition is both a tragedy as well as an epic that celebrates all the triumphs that might transpire in a battlefield of thoughts, or situational provocations. It describes the light, and it is within this verbalized properties of the light (i.e., the story of love itself) that make these notable stories a prophecy of all the collective thoughts that can be gathered, but that would never be truly enough just to describe the natural chair of the divine, or any higher being for that purpose, and what Heaven would actually look like in the eye of the beholder."
"I see. And Satan is very much interested in this New World dimension exactly for what effect and reason?"
"He is looking for that intangible chain that he would need to destroy; this invisible thing holds the most efficacious use of the hidden Relics with respect to the most holy medium of the messianic redemption. It is going to be the most awaited release of the dark mark that will properly trigger this sacrilegious Holy War."
"And that particular woman he was looking for is now within these Enclosures?"
"That is correct. And the Departnent of the Past was destined to find her first. That is very clear in the first order of things. By then, we must be ready for battle, and to bravely intervene."
"Now, it is our solemn task to delay the events in history, and to prevent its perilous alteration. Now I fully understand the situation. Is there anything else of value at this point?"
"Soon enough, and on the cue of the most perfect timing, the North Pole and the Christmas Corporation will join our most solemn cause."
