Chapter Two: The Women Are Hunted Down

The Supreme Court has immediately upheld the constitutionality of the measure that will jeopardize everything that the American society has ever worked for, particularly when the Justices overwhelming concurred that the future establishment of a New World is enshrined in the constitution. The court even went too far by saying that the "New World has been prophesized by the American forefathers" when the fundamental law of the land was written.

Of course, the female politicians were adamant to recognize the ceremonial establishment of this new order by calling for women's groups to protest and take to the streets "everything that this government has taken away from the basic human dignity of women, including the right to profess a religion, that are all guaranteed by the general definition of freedom under the Declaration of Independence."

As strong protests against this New World gain traction across the great country once known as the United States of America, the government has been tactically being methodological in implementing the provisions of this legislation, very careful in its rhetoric to prevent the Department of the Past from being vilified by the women who "cannot accept the truth of the matter."

The government tried everything it can to control the situation, but the protests started to swell from the last twenty-fours after the law has been cleared of any legal defect by the competent Chief Justice who wrote the opinion for the majority.

Within three hours after the number of the crowd further increased, the President has called for the arrest of all women regardless of age, including the males participating in protest "for committing treason to the solemn spirit of the constitution." Top legislators have repeatedly said in news outlets that "enough is enough."

The subsequent images depicted by broadcast media was horrendous as the National Guards drag female protestors like wild animals and put them into the waiting military vehicles "to be quarantied in Women's Concentration Camps until such a time that a new cure for their theological disease has been eventually found, tested, and perfected."

No female politicians have concurred in the formulation of any of these public policies, but they are also subjected to the reach of the law and has been ordered to remain on strict home quarantine on the same statutory basis as the rest of the women in the country.

Thousands of women have arrived in the prepared concentration camps (which the government calls the "Peaceful Enclosure") with everything that the female population would need. It is complete with food provisions, decent housing, schools for the younger children, and even entertainment centers and public parks. The Peaceful Enclosures are big enough to be considered a City by today's standards, and this is exactly how the government is selling this tactical move to its citizens and to the rest of the world.

"This is not an imprisonment, but a method of quarantine," the President said during a press conference. "As the statute takes legal effect, those female members of the diplomatic corps may remain accredited in their post until the end of their tour of duty, while no female ambassador will be accredited from here on, and this also applies to the international media who have the business of covering the current events in the country, under its new name, New World of America."

Chapter Sixty Two: The Fable Beneath the Enclosure of Minneapolis

Just as the enclosure called Planet Earth has a wealth of story and narrative to tell, waiting to be discovered by an "anointed one," like a true seer as some might allege at this point of comparative instance; just as a person's mind is littered with all kinds of thoughts and a wide array of options for the rational soul to decide, the newly created enclosures of the so-called New World of America are also full of fables and tales that merit intellectual attention and the discerning eye for a much open sense of literary appreciation. This comes as history is desperately trying to keep the balance of the continuous unveiling of universal timeline, as well as the many periods in the past, and that which holds the valuable lessons that came, primarily, from the victorious strategic demeanor that led to triumph, as well as the several notable failures of the wars that led to the development of military tactics, and the peripheral analysis of political and mercantile powers,...

Chapter Sixty Eight: Paintings and Frames

It was a massive painting hanging gloriously in the living room of the well-appointed mansion. The frame enclosing it was as beautiful as the painting itself; artists would generally refer to its subject as "surrealism" and its caliber is similar to the merit and style attributed to the great painter and surrealist René Magritte. The artwork itself is titled "Lucifer's Refuge," (a name that is already revealing) and the market price for this rare masterpiece has been presently valued at €75 Million, a rigorous thought concept of the re-imaginings of Lucifer's plight in his spiritual struggle, although the original painter who actually created the painting in water color was silent about the inspiration of the work. Many of those valuators (some are even respected professors of History of Art themselves) who were fortunate enough to make a perusal of the said artistic piece had one thing in common to say: that the strokes were impeccable and gentle in its ap...

Chapter Fifty Two: Enclosed

I have learned that if you must leave a place that you have lived in and loved and where all your yesteryears are buried deep, leave it amyway except a slow way, (instead) leave it the fastest  way you can.  Never turn back and never believe  that an hour you remember is a better hour  because it is dead. Passed years seem safe ones,  vanquished ones, while the future lives in a cloud, formidable from a distance. Beryl Markham, West with the Night Renew, release, let it go. Yesterday's gone. There's nothing you can do to bring it back. You can't "should've" done something. You can only DO something. Renew yourself. Release that attachment. Today is the new day!
