Chapter Four: The Benedict's Principle of the Reversal of the System

 Linus Benedict couldn't believe what he has done and what was unfolding because of it. This whole thing was mostly his fault, after all, being the lead scientist who pursued Genesis Technology to the core. As a curious child, he was always drawn to the principles of Quantum Physics for as long as he can remember. But now his illustrious career in the discipline has gone so, so wrong.

Genesis Technology came to be as a simple, ludicrous hypothesis that he formulated while he was still a student at Yale College. In fact, the said hypothesis sounded so ridiculous that he went around telling everybody that all about it was just a simple, foolish joke.

Linus grew up in a devout Catholic family, and all his life he was taught about the mercy and compassion that characterize Jesus Christ's ministry, while his parents fully recognize the Church's role in dispensing the several Sacraments instituted by the faith. He himself was accustomed into going to confession at least once a year, mostly during the Lenten season, as a matter of responsibility.

Tonight, he wanted to go to confession as soon as possible; he is compelled by his conscience to repent on everything he did in exploring the diabolical idea, to pray for the Virgin Mary's intercession, mainly for God to have mercy on his role to this foolish scientific advancement.


However, he did not want to appear selfish and hypocritical, neither before man nor before God, and so he decided to pray for all the women who were affected by Genesis Technology, as well. If only he had known earlier the repercussions of this brazen attack on the sanctity of life, then he would not have used his intelligence to destroy the very basic dignity of human life, and considered all of the red flags raised by bioethics.

He did not mean it this way. He has always believed in God's thy kingdom.

The theory he mainly developed, called the Benedict's Principle of the Reversal of the System, now a scientific law named in his honor, explores the possible way in which physics could reverse the biological systems of humans, mostly to withstand the "theological disease," or those factors affecting physical cellular function relating to aging and the physiological manifestation of infections as well as the germ theory of disease.

The desire to live forever on this earth has suddenly become diabolical.

In his sleep, Linus dreamt about Lucifer the Devil, talking to him in a calm and professional manner, congratulating him on his success and all the well-wishes for his new found eternal life. He could see clearly Lucifer's beautiful face and ripped body; there is no denying that the devil can be beautiful.

Everything then becomes misty, and so he could not see what was happening later on in his dream, but the Devil's voice was loud and clear. He heard something about the relics of Adam and Eve being discussed, about the symbols and flags of nations, the existence of alien life, and the need  for their end to act abruptly, but he couldn't make sense of what was actually going on.

He woke up from that dream, feeling thirsty and sweaty. Since then, he was convinced that humanity was in trouble and his dream was a message from God. He felt in his heart that they were all deceived by the Evil One, and his power motivated their curiosity in exploring this temptation.

Chapter Eight: Arrival at the Peaceful Enclosures

Back in the present day, the initial implementation of Genesis Technology was in full swing. There are many more protests and speeches and court cases initiated by organized women and politicians that has become very repetitive. Day two after the crucial Executive Order takes effect and enter into force, thousands of women arrive at the Peaceful Enclosures in Arizona and Wisconsin, and more States are expected to follow.
